What Kellie Smith brings to each of her sessions cannot be read about; it must be felt. Her deep intuition, caring, warmth, humor, and clarity are evident from the very first meeting. A session with her is an experience like none other, as her clients continually emphasize.
Kellie is the owner and founder of Balanced Living, LLC, which was established in 2004. A Colorado native, business owner, and mother of three, she relates to all types of people, and her deeply intuitive and spiritual nature is apparent in all her healing modalities.
Kellie began her career in the healing arts 18 years ago with a focus on Energy Medicine and Holistic Health as a Reiki Master and Teacher with an emphasis in herbal remedies. She earned her Board Certification as a Biofeedback Therapist in 2004 and became a Specialist in 2008 through continually learning the latest techniques in emerging holistic therapies.
It is this depth and breadth of experience – both innate and learned – that Kellie offers to each of her clients. She is an avid learner, always exploring new methods and methodologies, to hone her extensive skills even further. She then synthesizes this information, distills it down, and offers a variety of workshops and classes to her clients to empower them in their personal development.
Kellie’s goal is to motivate and inspire others to create healthy & meaningful lives by shifting out of old patterns, eliminating limiting beliefs, and aligning with the future they desire. Using a combination of intuition, as well as Biofeedback, Bars®, and Light Therapy in her sessions, clients are able to explore new visions for their future, accelerate personal development, and integrate this as part of their overall health and healing regimen.
Kellie also held certifications or licenses in the following modalities:
In a time when the world seems to be spinning a bit faster, young adults need the support of a special mentor. Bailey Sullice is their go-to person.
Bailey works with people of all ages, although teens and young adults are her specialty. She supports them with a variety of modalities including Biofeedback, Bars Clearing Session, Ionic foot detox, and Light therapy to help balance their bodies and clear their minds from the stressors of today’s hectic lifestyles.
Whether it’s relationship issues with parents or friends, a sports focus, homework stress and studying for exams, finding that first job, or worries about entry into adulthood, Bailey uses an individualized approach to best serve her young clients. She usually starts her sessions with biofeedback in order to determine key areas to work on but will use other complementary modalities as needed, or as desired by her clients.
Beginning in 2011 Bailey worked for the nonprofit organization, Glowmundo, for several years as an assistant teacher, and then a lead teacher. She helped troubled third graders – often with parents involved in gangs or other serious issues – discover the power of their minds. She encouraged them to participate in creative outlets such as plays, yoga, and music, and was rewarded by their increased self-worth.
Taking a scientific path into healing, Bailey received her Emergency Medical Technician Certification in May of 2014 and has spent time serving as a volunteer with fire departments, paramedics, and assisting physical therapy patients in hospitals. She loved being an EMT, but it was hard for her not to be able to keep in touch with her patients to support their recovery. Now she can.
The next step for Bailey is to research how she can best support young people affected by ADHD, ADD, and autism. Seeing this issue more and more in her practice, she’s devoted to learning all she can to help them using biofeedback and other tools. Her background in anatomy, science, and the body helps build a strong bridge for clients toward better understanding the mind/body connection.
Happily married to her best friend of seven years, Gabriel. His family hails from France and he works as a Software Developer. Their favorite thing is traveling internationally so they are spending much of 2018 in Europe.
